Welcome to our little haven in Island Park — we’re the Pickering Clan, a family-owned and family-run cabin rental business built from a love of adventure, togetherness, and the simple beauty of nature.

Our rentals sit in a peaceful, remote sanctuary surrounded by towering pines, open skies, and the quiet whisper of the mountains. For us, this place is more than a business — it’s home to some of our most cherished family memories. We’re a close-knit Christian family, and over the years these cabins have been the backdrop to countless moments we hold close: large family reunions, holiday gatherings, and winter days spent cutting down our own Christmas tree, decorating together with siblings and cousins, and filling the rooms with laughter.

Some of our favorite memories are cozy and simple — snuggling under warm blankets by the fire, sipping hot cocoa after a day of playing in the snow, watching Christmas movies, and letting time slow down. Other memories are full of adventure — bundling up in the middle of the night for a spur-of-the-moment trip to watch the northern lights dance across the sky.
